Concept, editorial design and art direction of the neunerhaus annual report 2021.

The annual report is divided into two main parts, "Menschen" (People)  and "Fakten" (Facts). This concept allowed us to focus on the people at neunerhaus with stories and photos and at the same time to show the most important figures clearly in an annual report. 

2021 were moving times for neunerhaus. Gaps in the care of homeless and uninsured people were identified - and closed. neunerhaus has implemented projects that contribute to ending homelessness and housing in the long term. In the current annual report you can read and see what moved, inspired and challenged neunerhaus in 2021 - and which social developments were closely observed. The neunerhaus is a social organisation based in Vienna and gives around 800 people a home worthy of its name every year. Social workers offer counselling at eye level. But poverty makes you sick and sickness makes you poor. That is why neunerhaus has built up an extensive medical care system. In the neunerhaus health centre, general practitioners and dentists, together with professional social counsellors, help about 5,000 homeless and uninsured patients every year. The neunerhaus Café is not only a cosy meeting place in the neighbourhood, but also offers healthy food on a free donation basis and low-threshold counselling. In the neunerhaus veterinary care, volunteer veterinarians and many volunteers look after the four-legged friends of homeless people. Because they are often the best of friends - and loyal companions even in times of crisis.
